Hi ,

We are looking for an D class Audio amplifier with Gain control to drive 0.8W / 1 W, 8 ohm Speaker to achieve Sound pressure level of min 80dBA ( 100Hz- 10Khz) with no more than 3% THD+ Noise and at VCC= 3.3V). Can you suggest some Non BGA device which can suite our requirement similar to TAS2553.

Or do we have Non BGA(WCSP) equivalent of TAS2553.

Hi Bhupendar,

You can take a look at LM48511. This is a Class-D amplifier with integrated boost converter.
The gain of LM48511 is set through external input/feedback resistors.

This part looks good but On Gain control side we are looking for Auto gain control (on the fly Gain adjustment) and not HW fixed.
Is there any similar part with AGC.

Hi Bhupendar,

Most of out amplifiers with AGC are in BGA package.
The only non-BGA is TPA2016D2. This one is available in QFN and BGA.
