PCM4104-EP low frequency response

We do not characterize our parts with DC signals as our parts are meant to focus on audio signals. The measurements we provide on our data sheets are for AC audio signals (usually our measurements don't go below 10 or 20 Hz). You are certainly welcome to try your application on an EVM but we cannot guarantee the performance below 1 Hz.

Does this device have a high-pass roll-off below some frequency? Is DC blocked?

Doing a quick bench test I was able to verify that at least some accuracy of DC level is able to output. I would have tested 1 Hz if I could, but the AP has a minimum output of about 10 Hz. I do not know the DC accuracy or variance from part to part. but there does not seem to be any filter that completely blocks DC output.

I really appreciate your information. This will save me a lot of time and possibly expense. Because of the limited pass band of my application (< 500 Hz.) I can adjust the frequency response if it isn't completely flat as long as DC isn't blocked intrinsically. If I can't get it to work in my design I still appreciate your efforts.

Please advise if you know of any other TI DACs that might work better in a low frequency application. I do need 4 coherent channels and 24-bits.

There is a range of price versus performance, and these parts are tested for DC/sub 1 Hz performance.
