IC to generate PWM for high frequency (10kHz to 500kHz) Class D power amplifier

Please suggest me an IC to generate PWM for Class D power amplifier, the input is sine wave (10kHz to 30kHz). The need to generate PWM around 300kHz.

  • Hi Kadagala,

Welcome to E2E, Thanks for your interest in our products!.

I would suggest you to take a look to our Audio Selection tool, it offers a great overview of our devices so you can be able to choose the right part for your application.

Can you share more information of your application?, like the part # of the amplifier that you are trying to drive, or desired output power level. This way we can help you finding the best solution.

  • Thank You for your suggestion.

I need to amplify a 0.5V-2V, 15kHz-25kHz input signal to 400V output of same input frequency. For doing this I need to compare the input with triangular wave (10 times of input frquency, 250kHz) and generate PWM. The PWM drive the MOSFETs in H-Bridge configuration (dc voltage 400V) and the power output is 500W. The amplifier will finally drive a transducer.

I am looking for ICs for the above application.
