PCM29xx Irreversibly Compressed Format

Hi,

Does PCM29xx series provide the functions to decode the irreversibly compressed format such as MP3, AAC and WMA ?
Is our understanding corret that it does not provide those functions ?

Hi Kato-san,

The PCM29xx does not decode compressed formats; it receives the audio packets from the host through the USB connection.
The compressed audio playback is a task of the host.

Thank you for your quick response.

The competitor part has the embedded decoder, so I asked you to replace it with PCM29xx.
Unfortunately, I understood that there is not applicable product in TI solution.
