Hi,

We are using PCM5122 DAC we are planning to implement a simple LPF with cutoff of 50Khz.

In the Fixed Audio Processing Flow (Program 5) what will be the default configuration for Biquad filters is it LPF or HPF and what will be the default cutoff frequency.

I have placed a request for Pure Path studio software but have not received any reply can you please let me know what else I have to do to get access to purepath.

Hi Prakash,

Submitting a request on the PUREPATHSTUDIO page found here, is all you need to do.

When you start the part, there will not be any default filters enabled, they will all be pass through, you need to program the device with coefficients to have filters other than pass through. This can be done in PPS with the ROM process flow, and then can be exported by saving the file. This will export I2C writes for the part in a file.

Hi Prakash,

Just another note, the DRC starts up in a harsh setting, and it is recommended that you apply your tuned settings before outputting audio. So I would not recommend outputting audio in the default state.
