Hi TI Guys,

I know, the problem with SRC4392EVM is already well known on the E2E, but now I have this same problem and looking for any fast solution. I've just received my SRC4392EVM and tried to get it working. The included SW doesn't work on any of my PCs... I have only Win7 / Win8 and Win10 PCs... The main problem is the USB-MODEVM communication driver... Is there any new solution to get it work with Win7/8/10 ??? Do you have any new SW or new driver version?

I will be grateful for any suggestion,

Hi Tomasz,

A quick solution is to download the TLV320AIC3254EVM-U - Graphical User Interface (GUI) Software (v1.2.1) (Rev. A), this software has a command interface that you can write our I2C script commands to talk to any device on I2C. Make sure you run this program in administrator mode.

I installed the SW but it doesn't work, doesn't talk to my SRC4392EVM...

Hi Tomasz,

If you start the CS software (from AIC3254 software page) in administrator mode, you should be able to open the command interface and run script commands for I2C transactions. This will allow you to send I2C communication from the host PC to the USB to I2C IC on the board (TAS1020B) and that I2C communication will be sent to the SRC4392, if the jumpers are set correctly. You should be able to probe the I2C lines on the bard and see your command being sent from the command interface. This a workaround that does not use the SRC4392EVM software, as this software only works on Windows XP.
