Assigning various I2S digital DAC data paths in the AIC3254 audio codec

Hi,

I would like a confirmation if possible on the set-up of the AIC3254 LDAC and RDAC data paths and their data sources for I2S digital inputs.

Form Page 0 / Register 63 & 64 it would appear that the following configurations are permitted :

1. Page 0 / Register 63, bits D5-D4, Left DAC data is Left Channel Audio Interface Data
2. Page 0 / Register 63, bits D3-D2, Right DAC data is Left Channel Audio Interface Data
   
3. Page 1 / Register 14, bits D3, Left Channel DAC reconstruction filter output is routed to LOL
4. Page 1 / Register 15, bits D3, Right Channel DAC reconstruction filter output is routed to LOR
   

The above settings to the best of my knowledge would permit an I2S digital data stream on the left channel audio to be routed to the Left DAC and the Right DAC data for eventual routing to the LOL and LOR audio drivers to obtain a differential Line Output audio signal (all sourced from the left I2S digital data stream).

Essentially this is the goal, to route the I2S left audio data stream source to a differential Line Ouput audio signal for external line outputs.

I no longer have access to a an eval board for the AIC3254 and would greatly appreciate a confirmation if the above settings are possible to get the correct outcome ??
