"Balanced" Current Drive Aplifier using LM4780

I'm in process of designing audio power amp based on LM4780. Topology is similar to bridged amp, but in fact it's double (modified) Howland current source driven by differential signal. My aim is to build high quality device capable to "harmless" drive loudspeakers with various impedances. My main concern is maximum power dissipation: table on fourth page of data sheet says that this value is 125W. Ad rem: is this value depicts power dissipation of whole chip or just one (out of two) amps "closed" in package.

    Welcome to e2e.
    The maximum power dissipation must be for the whole chip.
    I want to remind you that, unfortunately, LM4780 is in lifebuy state right now. You can take a look at our Mid/High Power Class-D amplifiers if you look for a replacement. Devices like LM4766, TPA3116D2 and TPA3250D2 could be replacement for LM4780.

    Thank you for elucidation. Hopefully I have some "leftovers" in drawer so eol of LM4780 isn't a problem at this point. Unfortunately output power of LM4766 is insufficient and Class D amp doesn't meet my main requirement - "pure analog" signal processing.
