TAS5706 - How do I fix a "pop" when I change sample rates?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5706

The TAS5706 should not create a "pop" when the sample rate is changed; however, some digital audio sources have been observed to rapidly change between the old and new sample rates more than once in a short period of time (IE: <2mS).  Several rapid sample rate changes can create a "pop".

Since the TAS5706 automatically  detects the sample rate, there is a period of time it needs to re-lock on a new sample rate, ~2mS.  The best solution is to modify the digital audio source to make only one transistion from the old to the new sample rate.  If this is not possible, program manual sample rate detection in the TAS5706 to mitigate the problem.
