Hi,

Our customer has questions about the PCM5121 soft mute function by driving the XSMT pin.

They do not use XSMT in External UVP Mode.
-> UEPD(External UVP Control) is Disabled(b1=1). ; Table 123. Page 1 / Register 5

When doing this setting, can soft mute function by driving the XSMT pin be used?

Even if this setting is done, what can the reason when not doing a soft mute function by driving the XSMT pin, consider?
