LM4670 short circuit proteciton

Hello,

      How much current and short pulse duration of the short circuit limitation that without chip broken. Could we provide the spec. and more detail about short circuit working behavior. There is no more description about that in datasheet or block diagram. Thank you.

    Unfortunately, I don't have any detailed information on how short circuit protection works on this part because it is an old part and the people who worked with these parts aren't longer on TI. Beside this device doesn't have an EVM available to perform this test.
    But based on my experience in audio devices, they have a kind of current limiter for short-circuit protection, if the output current level exceeds the threshold current, the device activates the short circuit protection. After of a short circuit condition, the output current decreases until that it is lower than threshold current and the device will start to work normally.
