Hello,
My company is building an audio mixer for pro-level audio mixing. We are interested in adding USB Audio support so that users can play songs from their computer via USB to the mixer. So we are thinking about integrating a PCM2900C.
1) Do we need to install a volume slider for the PCM2900C? Or does the PCM2900C have an analog volume control built in?
2) If we skipped adding the volume slider for the PCM2900C, it would be digitally attenuated via the WINDOWS VOLUME MIXER, correct?
3) If we added a "digitally controlled analog volume control" (for example the LM1972) can we allow windows to control the LM1972 in place of the PCM2900C "Speaker" volume control (Control Panel>Sounds>...)
I hope this question is clear enough. Thank you so much for your assistance!
Jay
