Hi Nat,

Actually LM4752 and LM4755 are still shown as active at ti.com product folder, but you're right; these devices are listed to be discontinued.
So you can take a look at LM1875.

Could you please provide these two IC (LM4752 and LM4755) output power at 12V input?

As figure below, only 2.x W??

We need IC can support over 6W when input power only 12V.

Then we can achieve 85db when use 4ohm 5W speaker

Hi Nat,

Unfortunately I don't have boards for testing LM4752 or LM4755. But the graphs in the datasheets show that the output power diminishes quickly at lower supply voltages.
Perhaps LM1875 performance is closer to your needs according to the datasheet information.

Hi Nat,

There should be around 1.8W/1%THD+N 2.5W/10%THD+N at the output when supply voltage = 12V

Do you know which TI part (Class-AB) could provide 5~6W when supply voltage = 12V?
I could not find in TI's product.

Hi Nat,

I think LM4950 could fit in here.
According to figures 22 and 31 from the datasheet this device should be able to reach the required output level at 12V.
