PCM2903C operating temperature range

Dear support,

The PCM2903C is defined for -40 to +125 degC (Table 7.1 Abs Max - Ambient temperature under bias)

However the recommended operating temperature  (Table 7.3) suggests only 0 to 85 degC.

Can you please advise the reason for this ?

Which performance issues should I expect when trying to operate it in temperatures below 0 degC.

    Hi Nir,

    Actually PCM2903C operates from -25 to 85 degC. See Electrical Characteristics -> Temperature Range. I think 0 to 85 degC in Table 7.3 is a typo from the last datasheet review.
    Device functionality and performance cannot be guaranteed below -25 degC.
    The range from -40 to 125 degC indicates the temperature range before permanent damage is done to the device.
