Hi,
Just to be clear, are the PVDD_x supply pins connected in any way? I want to use multiple power supplies to power each output section.
Thanks.

Hi, Mike,
Yes, there are indeed some internal connections, and they must all be tied to the same power supply, otherwise you may let the magic smoke out.

Ok, thanks very much. A more fundamental question then; for a 2 x 300W design I then need 50V @ 12A?

The website mentions "Class G power supply reference design " however I have yet to find it. Is this available?
Thanks again.

Mike,
I refuse to get drawn into such conversations as to how much power is needed in the power supply!!!!!!! LOL
This is a very tough question to answer. It really depends on what you want your system to do. Most consumer systems have power supplies rated at about 1/10th the power listed on the box... It's all about crest factor!

Mike,
The class-G reference design is currently going thru last minute quality checks. It should be available in a few weeks.

The answer is simple. If your competitor has a larger supply, you say it is more than needed. If your competitor has a smaller one it is because they are cutting corners.
Hi Don,
Any word on this power supply (or design)? We have our prototype working very well, but I'd like to see the class-G anyway.
Thanks,
