Dear Sirs,

My customer asked me about BEQ coefficient setting by fs change of TAS5558

Select the TAS5548 / 58 in PPC1.16 of target.
Then, when you open the sample rate, it will be displayed only 96,176.4,192.

My customer would like to know the coefficient of BEQ in other than the above fs (for example 32kHz, 88.2kHz).
He does not use the SRC in the TAS5558.

In this case, do you put out coefficient by fs change on PPC?
If also you do not put out, is there any such calculation method?

Hello Hassbe-san,

Yes the Biquad filters must be configured for the desired sample rate. The PPC1.16 software automatically calculates the coefficients for the pre-programmed sample rate 96,176.4,192. For other sample rates not supported by the PPC GUI, we recommend using this calculator.

I had known TIBQ.

So I have a question.

There are the following formula in a text file which is calculated in TIBQ.

Text "* BQ: H(z) = (N0 + 2*N1/z + N2/(z2)) / (8388608 - 2*D1/z - D2/(z2))"

Does this expression will not match the calculation of the coefficient of BEQ in PPC1.16?
I think that is different "2 * N1" and "2 * D1" of this equation.

What you sure you want to use a calculation coefficient of TIBQ?
