Distortion with LM49350

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM49350

I'm currently using the LM49350 audio codec, and on the A/D input when using very low level we hit distortion quickly.  We are hearing artifacts in high frequencies has anyone else had this issue?

We tested the D/A using a straight digital input source and that sounds very clean and correct on output.

What are the recommended gain levels for the aux left and right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ari

  • Hi, Ari,

Welcome to E2E, Thanks for your interest in our products!.

Perhaps the issue is related to the datapath configuration of the amplifier, can you please send us the register configuration? My colleague will check it and will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Ari,

Could you please share more details about the application and the issue?
Could you please share your register configuration?
What is the input and where are you feeding the input signal when you get distorted output? And where are you getting this distorted output signal?
