PCM3070RHBEVM-K and PurePath Studio Example

TI,

I just got the PCM3070RHBEVM-K and PurePath...

I tried to download and run the Example (PCM3070_Example1_PFW) and I get the following:

Output Window Found board type: ?????????????????????

Select Board FWID Dialog Box: None of the FWIDs in the list even contain the string 3070

Am I missing some "secret" documentation? I read the Eval Board User's Guide and looked thru all the help for PurePath.

BTW, I am running the PCM3070EVM-K Control Software just fine, and PurePath did prompt me for a firmware upgrade. So I know my setup is basically working - Just need help with this (missing?) documentation/detail.

Hi, Karl,

Could you attach a screenshot of the issue that you are getting in PurePath Studio? Also, could you provide the version of PurePath Studio that you have? Is it the Portable edition?

Below is a composite screen shot - showing the problems I described, PurePath version, and PCM3070EVM-K Control Software (v1.2.1).

I am running under Windows 10 (64 bit) with the Control Software running under Compatibility Mode for Window XP (Service Pack 3) per instructions.

I tried running PurePath as a normal Windows 10 app and also in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Compatibility Mode - no difference in behavior.

Hi, Karl,

The version of PurePath Studio that you are using is the Home Edition. This is made for a different kind of devices with miniDSP. The Portable version is made for the PCM3070. So, could you download the Portable version in the same site where you downloaded this version.
