Undocumented paths in AIC3262?

Dear all,

I'd like to route a signal a “new” way in the AIC3262. It looks like the the receiver output only can take signals from the IN1L/IN1R and/or via the LOL/LOR, and I'd like to drive it from IN4L/IN4R. Actually I’d like two paths:
-          The first one is from one of our digital microphones to the LOL/LOR balanced analog output. (This works fine.)
-          The second one is from IN4L and IN4R (balanced) to the receiver output. This works fine from the IN1L/IN1R input, but I can’t find a way from the IN4L/IN4R. Of course you could go via the ADC, digital route and then to one DAC and out to the receiver but then you cross the digital microphones path to the LOL/LOR and these should be isolated.

Is there any undocumented path possibility to help me out of this problem? I’d would be very glad if there were...

Kind regards
Fredrik Bonde

  • Hi, Fredrik,

The receiver output only can handle IN1L/R and LOL/R. If digital microphones will be routed to the LOL/R lines, then the only way to use the receiver output would be the IN1L/R. Otherwise, you would need to use only one of LOL or LOR lines with the digital microphone and use the other one with the IN4L/R input.
