PCM2900 analog input voltage

Hi,

I would like to use PCM2900 with INA163 microphone preamp in my design. I have a question about PCMs input voltage centering. Do I need to bias the output signal from preamp with offset DC voltage of 0.5 Vccci or its centered on PCMs input automaticly with offset?

Hi Jakub,

Welcome to e2e.
You can use an AC coupling capacitor (series capacitor) at the analog inputs of PCM2900 in order to remove any offset voltage from the input signal. The analog input of PCM2900 will then center the input signal at 05 Vccci.

Just for verification. I don't need any circuit for adjust input offset. I am right?
