TLV320AIC3106EVM Audio via I2S

Hi,

I'm evaluating tlv320aic310 audio codec using TLV320AIC3106EVM board. My need is to send digital audio via I2S to codec. As it is stand-alone, I'm expecting a way to send audio stream to audio codec. II don't find any way in the TLV320AIC3106EVM evaluation tool to do that. Is there a way to stream audio via USB to evaluate digital audio?

    Hi, Keerthi,

    I recommend to configure the TLV320AIC3106EVM in playback mode. There are several preset configurations in the GUI that are used to configure the EVM to playback from the line outputs or the high-power (headphone) outputs. Once the EVM is configured with one of these preset configurations, you may use the EVM as a PC playback device (see the PC Playback Devices window to ensure that the EVM is configured as default device). Then, you may reproduce a sound directly from your PC. For example, you may play an audio file by Windows Media Player. In this way, you will get the audio signal at the EVM outputs.
