Digital MEMS Microphone Interfacing

Dear Audio Guru's,

I've recently struck-up an interest in (Knowles) digital MEMS microphones, learning a bit about PCM, audio codecs, and wireless transmission and receiver solutions (for a commercial product concept that I'm exploring).

Anyone with experience in this area that can point me in a particular PCM or codec direction relative to interfacing to either analog or digital MEMS mic's would be appreciated.  With respect to wireless, I'm looking at wireless USB, Zigbee and Bluetooth.  The target market is in the theatrical performance realm, so I'm potentially dealing with having multiple devices on stage that have to carry separate addresses or frequencies.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Steve P.
