Dual Microphone noise cancelling application

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMV1090, LMV1032, LMV1012, TLV320AIC3256

Hi,

I want to design a circuit based on two microphones able to enhance the voice (main mic to be placed close to the voice source) and reduce the environment noise (second mic to be placed away from the voice source). This circuit will be placed into a head mounted consumer electronic device.

I was about to use a component like the LMV1090, however it seems that this kind of ICs have been discontinued from TI. Is there an alternative to the LMV1090 or the only solution is to design the circuit myself (e.g. something like https://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers/audio_amplifiers/f/6/t/279268)?

Thank you.

Best,

  • Hello Rudy

Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our products.
As you have mentioned one solution is to design the circuit yourself, but I'd recommend you to have a look to the LMV1012 and LMV1032, you could use them in the first stage of the circuit. Another option is to use TLV320AIC3256 as it is mentioned on ti.com
