Low power functions

Hi,
I have seen at the bottom of page 12 Family User Guide mentioning of interesting power management features. Will these be available at both master and slaves ? And will different EHIF commands be available in R1.1 as the current ones does not allow to e.g set a timeout for entering a low power state  after detecting no input. Any chance to elaborate a bit how it will work ? - it is quite important for my target product design assumptions.

    in R1.0 the powerfeatures are limited to active audio streaming or low-power (basically "off"). Do you have a specific power saving scenario that you could share with us? I cant share details on R1.1 power managment right now, but your inputs are always welcome.

    to allow a good deal of flexibility I would imagine the PM should enter low-power mode when there is no input signal -actually in 8531 there are two sets of audio interface pins so the most flexible version could independently monitor these two sets of inputs, especially if each of the audio interface pin sets could be paired independently with two sets of slaves (?)… PM should probably cut the connections with the slaves, the best version would be if slaves knew what was the reason for the loss of connection – can be drop of range, no signal or putting PM deliberately in low-power mode… The functionality I am most missing actually is signalling on the slave side by one of the pins that are available on the reference design (seems GIO1, 2, 12, 13 are available) of the low-power state entered due to PM entering low-power state. Alternatively this functionality could be replaced with possibility from the PM to set GIO pin(s) of its slaves. If any of the two was available there would not be necessity to place a uC on the receiver side in an active speakers configurations thus significantly simplifykng the design. For active speakers it is important to be able to switch off the speakers (where slaves are located) remotely from a PM.
