Hi,

i'd like to configure codec TLV320AIC3100 in order to support WBS assisted mode for HFP 1.6 BLUETOOTH profile.

I have used CC2564B i2s interface connected directly to the codec.

1) Is WBS supported by the codec? The DS is not helpful for this question.

2) CC2564B is configured as clock (WCLK and BCLK) master. Is this correct?

Hi, Paolo,

1. Could you provide details about the WBS requirements? The TLV320AIC3100 supports sampling rates from 8KHz to 192KHz. 16, 20, 24 and 32 bits formats. Does WBS require additional features?

2. The TLV320AIC3100 can be configured in master (BCLK and WCLK as outputs) and slave modes (BCLK and WCLK as inputs). So, CC2564B can be configured as master if the TLV320AIC3100 is slave.

Hi Luis,
WBS needs 16Khz and 64kbit PCM, and the mSBC codec, as explained here:

Thank you for the detailed information.

Unfortunately, our audio converters don't support all these capabilities. You would need an audio codec that specifically supports this feature.
