We have been working on a smart speaker with voice recognition that drives 2+1 speaker based on TI PA. Can you take a look at the request from the engineering team and see if you can help us?

 We were also trying to buy eval boards but ran into roadblocks..

 Request: TI GDE (Graphical Development Environment) for TAS5766MRMTEVM board.

 Notes: The TAS5766MRMTEVM board contains 2x stereo amplifiers (4 output channels). Currently I am only able to utilize 1x channel of this board as the TI software available to date does not allow the signal flow routing to be modified. I would like to configure the amplifier for 2.1 operation (i.e. two channels for stereo + 1 channel BTL for the bass driver).

    Hi Naser,

    Unfortunately TAS5766MRMTEVM is not directly designed for 2.1 systems.  

    In addition, GDE is not the right software for this EVM and instead PPC3 GUI is the right tool.  However,  the PPC3 plug-in for TAS5766MRMTEVM (TAS5766M_Dual) that is available in PPC3 GUI is not able to support 2.1 applications.

    I'm running into the same problem. The TAS5766MRMTEVM does have 2Xstereo channels but the PPC3 GUI is not able to support 2.1 applications or 2x2 applications, then is there anything that we can we do to make use the DUAL functionality of TAS5766-dual board?
