TLV320AIC3262: Questions about EVM Application.

Dear Sir,

Please kindly to answer below questions with using aic3262 EVM?

  1. I use Multi_Channel_Digi as AIC3262 output. I try to start recording audio file (.wav) but the audio format is stereo( only two channels).

What I want is a four channel audio file. Could you please advise how to implement?

 

2. I want to adjust two coeficient MDAC and MADC. Should I just modify the variable in systemsetting code editor?

    Hi, Ian,

    1. Unfortunately, the TLV320AIC3262EVM-U cannot be used in multi-channel operations with the PC. PurePath Studio will configure the EVM in multi-channel mode, but the TAS1020b in the EVM only can be used for mono/stereo purposes. Even if the codec is configured correctly, the PC only can use the EVM in mono/stereo modes.

    2. Exactly, in order to modify the MDAC and MADC values, you only need to modify the system settings code in PurePath Studio.
