TAS5534/TAS5538: I2S Input Word Length

Hi,

How does TAS5534/38 work if inputting 32bits audio data although TAS5534/38 supports up to 24bits for I2S input word length ?
Is my understanding correct that lower 12bits of audio data is cut off ?

Kato-San,

As per the datasheet: "The TAS5548 masks unused trailing data bit positions." This means that any bits in excess of the maximum 24 I2S bits accepted will be masked (ignored).
