TPA3136D2: PLIMIT Circuit

Does the PLIMIT pin react in the same way as described in the TPA3132D2 data sheet? The PLIMIT pin is not explained in detail in the TPA3136D2 data sheet and I want to make sure that I give the customer the proper information on using the pin properly. Can he use the equations in the TPA3132D2data sheet when designing the PLIMIT circuit in the TPA3136D2?

Hi Rechard,

I think you can use the PLIMIT description in TPA3132D2 datasheet for TPA3136D2, because they are about the same. Generally speaking, PLIMIT pin limit the ouput power supply rail to 4*Vplimit. Please refer to the following picture for your understanding.
