PCM1794A-Q1: Decoupling condenser

Hi,

The decoupling condenser of the Vcc and Vcom is recommended the tantalum or aluminum electrolytic.

My customer would like to ceramic capacitors to shrink the board area.

Can it allow?

    Hi, Kuramochi-san,

    Electrolytic decoupling caps are recommended for the power supplies of the PCM1794A-Q1. If ceramic caps are used, the performance of the device might deviate from the specs in the datasheet as we have no test information for this configuration.
