TAS5766MDCAEVM: TAS5766 GUI for WIN10?

Part Number: TAS5766MDCAEVM

Dear sir,

We using WIN10 for TAS5766 GUI, it looks cannot adjust audio format - 44100Hz or 48000Hz.

Do you know how we can fix this issue?

And, how we can change TAS5766 EVM's mother board to 44.1KHz? (Default is 48KHz)

Thanks, Ian.

  • Hi Ian,

I have asked the GUI development team if PPC3 GUI supports Win10 (I believe that it should, but need to confirm). For the PPCMB motherboard, all sample rate changes are accomplished through the GUI. But, it will depend on how the GUI was designed. Frequently, we don't change anything from 44.1 and 48kHz, because the sample rate is similar enough that a new "mode" for the GUI is not required.

One exception to the above statement is available when you use the PSIA connection, When you use the PSIA connection, you can set whatever sample rate/clock rate/etc. that you want and all of the IC's on the motherboard are bypassed.

I will let you know what I hear back from the GUI development team.

    Thanks,
    Cody
