TLV320AIC3254EVM-K: TLV320AIC3254 internal LDO is not working

Part Number: TLV320AIC3254EVM-K

Hello Everyone.

i am using tlv320aic3254evm-k.My problem is that when i load the Direct bypass configuration from playback option and select LDO Disable(SW2 to low) its working fine.but if i toggle switch to high it does not work and no signal is coming out.Second problem is that other configurations like High performance Audio is not working in both cases. So please help me.

  • Hi, Harvinder,

Welcome to E2E and thank you for your interest in our products!

We don't recommend to modify the LDO_select switch if the codec is in use. This could cause variation on the signal performance. So, the correct usage is place the switch in the correct position and reset the device (HW and SW reset).

Then, the EVM configurations are designed to configure the EVM with external power supplies. In order to configure the internal LDO, you must configure it manually in the "Analog Setup" section of the AIC3254 CS. Please check all the blocks of the "Analog Power-Up" section to configure internal LDO.

Please let me know if you have further questions or comments.

    Best regards,
    Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.
  • yup It is working. Thanks for the kind and frequent reply, and one more question i want to use DSP for echo cancellation using dual microphones so how to implement? can you suggest some document or forums for implementation.
  • Hi, Harvinder,

Unfortunately, our portable audio converters miniDSP doesn't have enough capabilities to handle the echo cancellation. It would be necessary to add an external DSP. Please take a look at the following wiki article for details:
