I have a design I'm working on. Using a CODEC with balanced / differential output. If I use the 2 outputs to drive the 2 channels of the TPA0253, and set it to stereo mode, and wire the speaker as it would be for BTL mode, in theory this should work.
I have found in other designs that using the balanced output from COEDCs gives better signal to noise, lower noise.
The other choice is to use an op amp to convert the balanced output to single ended, and then drive the TPA0253 as it would be conventionally in BTL node.
My question, is this - is there any reason that my first choice wouldn't work due to DC offset or some other unknown reason I am not seeing?
