LME49724: Periodic noise of the LME49724

Part Number: LME49724

Some chips have a strange noise with an amplitude of up to 100 μV. The picture shows a correct channel (green) and a bad channel (red). Scale in ADC codes. 1 LSB is 596nV. The length of the picture is approximately 20 seconds. The problem is corrected only by replacing the chip, and there are many such chips. With mounting on the board there are no problems. With other chips, such problems never occurred.

  • Hi Sergey,

This seems to be related to a noise problem coming from the process of bipolar devices.
Unfortunately I don't think there is a fix for this issue. Mos process devices should not show this issue.
In addition there is not too much information about LM/LME devices. Sorry for the lack of information and solution.

  • Could you determine by looking at the picture that this chip is fake?
