TLV320AIC3256: ACPI ASL sample code or driver on Intel Braswell x86 platform

Unfortunately, we don't have a driver with these characteristics. However, we may provide some example register codes that customer may use to configure the audio codec if he is interested.

Have AIC3256 implemented completely in any x86 Platform? Customer BIOS need to add ASL code to communicate with driver under Windows OS. Do you have any suggestion for it? Thank you.

Unfortunately, we don't have drivers for these platforms. We only can provide registers configurations as I did in the last post. Customer would need to translate these registers configurations into the driver that he is looking for.

Thanks for reply. So we don't have any x86 platform ACPI driver even aic32x4 series, right? If customer would like to access the device, do you have any suggestion for it to let customer access device then configure the register? Thank you.

That's correct. We don't have any driver for the x86 platforms even aic32x4 series.

I would recommend to take a look at the examples that I provided in previous posts. Customer only needs to ensure if the codec will be configured for I2C protocol (SPI_SELECT pin tied to GND) or SPI protocol (SPI_SELECT pin pulled-up to IOVDD).
