TAS5424A: Parallel Operation (PBTL)

Hi,

I have an application with a load impedance of 1 Ohms that need around 50 Watts. In datasheet TAS5412 is "even one 1 ohm load by paralleling BTL channels". How can I connect  the outputs to PBTL? Can I use 4 channels outputs, or 2 chanels outputs? Is there any "application circuit"?

    Petr,

    The TAS5424A is not recommended for new designs.  I recommend the TAS5424C-Q1 as it is a more advanced device.


    For 1 ohm PBTL operations, please see the datasheet for the TAS5424C-Q1.  The output pins cannot be connected in parallel.  The speaker outputs, after the LC filter,  must be connected in parallel.
