datasheet said: The clock section uses MCLK or the internal oscillator clock (when MCLK is unstable, out of range, or absent) to produce the internal clock (DCLK) running at 512 time the PWM switching frequency.
so it means we can use Serial Control Interface Operational Without MCLK?
How can we use the internal oscillator?
We don't have ADC or MCU in the system, juse I2S input from CSR8670, and we use extenal cystal to creat a clock for TAS5711, but seems can't work well.
Hope you can give us suggestions., thanks.
Hi,
The TAS5711 is not designed for playback without an MCLK signal. However, the TAS5711 can support the same clock signal for BCLK/SCLK and MCLK for sampling frequencies of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz. You can then short the BCLK/SCLK pin with the MCLK pin and only provide a single clock for these two pins. Would this solution work for you?
