TLV320ADC3101: Sample(delay) time

Hi team,

Our customer is using 4 pcs TLV320ADC3101 to design a MIC array with 8 MIC. They need to sample the 8 MIC at the same time. However, when work in I2S TDM mode, the 4 pcs TLV320ADC3101's output data comes one by one.

I would like to know if this device is suitable for this kind of MIC array application. If yes, could we guarantee all 8 MIC will be sampled at the same time? If not, could you please advise suitable device?

    Hi, Vio,

    The TLV320ADC3101 can be used for this application without issues. The sampling of the microphones is determined by the I²S clocks that are provided to the device, so as long as the I²S clocks are valid and are synchronized for the four devices, the mics will be sampled at the same time.
