For non-audio application, is it possible to run PCM5242 at a non-audio sampling frequency, provided fs is <= 384kHz, and appropriate MCK/BCK/FSCK ratios are ensured?
Thanks!

Hi, Evan,
Welcome to E2E, Thanks for your interest in our products!.
The PCM5242 is designed to operate with audio-standard sampling rates, we can't guarantee that the part will behave as specified in the datasheet if it is used under a non expected condition. The device will detect the non-standard sampling rate as an error (Out of valid range), leading into a hard mute condition due a clock error detection.
