TLV320AIC3104EVM-K: Invalid Vendor & Product ID on USB-MODEVM Interface

Part Number: TLV320AIC3104EVM-K

I have a new TLV320AIC3104EVM-K, the USB-MODEVM interface board is returning invalid values for Vendor ID (0xFFFF) & Product ID (0xFFFE),

I am using Windows 7 Professional & have also confirmed the values with a Linux PC.

I have tried multiple cables to eliminate that as a problem.

I have not changed any jumpers.

On board LEDS

D2 OFF

D3 GREEN

D4 GREEN

D5 RED

D6 OFF

D7 GREEN

D8 GREEN

Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi, Lee,

Welcome to E2E and thank you for your interest in our products!

It seems that the EVM is not correctly initialized. Probably the driver is marked as DFUUSB. So, I would recommend several steps:

    - Ensure that the EVM switches and jumpers are placed in default state as mentioned in the User's Guide.
    - Then, initialize the EVM with the indications of the E2E thread below:
