A-Class vs. D-Class question-discussion

hello ,
i am thinking to compare class-A to class-D. Because, class-A and class-D does not have zero-pass mistake. Class-D is not latency in pulse to pulse zero-pass mistake. (out filter coil permission does not give).right me?

My application is car audio amplifier.

Rgds,

Fatih

  • Hi, Fatih,

You are correct, due to the modulation technique used in class-D amplifiers, they do not suffer cross-over distortion problems like class-B or class-AB amplifiers.

We actually make a series of class-D amplifiers specifically for car audio applications - take a look at TAS54xx products.
