Hi Support,
my customer is asking for an ASOC Linux Driver (Kernel Linux 3.10+) for TAS2505.
They developed themselves something which is "hand made" and not fully tested, but they'd prefer something from us.
Thanks and regards,
Alberto
Hi Ivan,
is there any schedule for TI to develop such a driver?
Having a ready-to-use driver greatly speeds up the board bring-up process; this should boost TAS2505 sales.
Personally, as a SW guy as I am, I blamed the HW guys to have chosen, for our design, a codec not fully supported under Linux.
