TLV320ADC3101: PurePath Studio MiniDSP GDE failure to start

When starting it aborts with exception message "Could not find file 'C:\Users\Michael\My Documents\Texas Instruments Inc\PurePath Studio (Portable Audio) MiniDSP 5.95\ComponentCache\Ntons\Singletons.xml'."

The path cited exists but the folder is indeed empty.  There have been other posts on a similar theme dated 2014 and before but I cannot get any help from them. Do I need a new version? The version I have is 5.95 but I cannot access the build number.  I am running Win 8.1 64-bit.

    Hi, Michael,

    This seems to be a problem with the software, probably related with the installation. The version you are using is the latest one and I have confirmed in the computer that the correct files are in the path you are mentioning. Please try to reinstall/run the software with administrator rights to discard any permission issues.

    Thanks Diego.

    I uninstalled and then re-installed with Admin rights, and run with Admin rights, and all is OK now.
