We’re working on a new audio amplifier implementation. We’ve got the development kit and have begun PCB layout using a TPA3111. There seems to be some inconsistency in the documentation that I’d like some clarity on please.
In revision D from October 2010, there was a 100kΩ resistor added to the AVCC line. However, there is some ambiguity as to which pin it is connected too, or both (7 & 14).
Assuming our power supply slew rate is <10v/ms.
Below are a few snippets of the spec sheet which seem to indicate tying a 100kΩ resistor to pin 14, or pin 7, and perhaps both pins by the use of the plural “pins” when discussing AVCC.
Please clarify the intent.
