I have some question as below.
1. When customer using 2kHz sampling rate, Speaker 8 Ohm and THD+N 15%, does TAS5760 can support 15W? (Don’t care about PBTL, BTL)
Pls see below detail system requirement for using TAS5760.
PVDD?
- Normal Operating voltage range : 9V~ 16V
- Standard test voltage : 14V (It’s for 12V automotive system)
Max RMS power?
- Speaker RMS power is 10W, 4 Ohm.
- Amplifier RMS power should be over 20W at 4Ohm, THD+N 10%.
- But additional special requirement is 15W, 8Ohm at THD 15% for amplifier output.
- Current capability should be over then 7A.
THD+N @ 1W sine?
- THD+N should be below 0.1% at 1W, 1kHz sine.
THD+N @ max RMS power?
- Amplifier RMS power should be over 20W at 4Ohm, THD+N 10%.
- When the speaker impedance is 8Ohm, amplifier continuous power requirement is 15W at THD 15%.
Frequency response?
- Signal band width is 20 ~ 6000Hz
Idle noise?
- There is no specific requirement.
- SNR : min 90dB
Thermal budget?
- It depends on the Amplifier characteristic. There is no requirement on thermal budget.
Impedance requirement.
- Handling impedance range : 4~8 Ohm, 4ohm impedance shall be ensured.
2. In case of BTL Mode,
