LM386: Looking for modern alternative

Hi, I am looking for a modern alternative to the LM386.  I'd like to use either +5V or +/-12V to supply power to this component.  SOIC or TSSOP package preferred.  I also need this part to drive a 4 ohm load.  Essentially, I am looking for an LM386 like part with better audio quality.  I've tried to use the parametric search but I'm getting spun around in circles.  Any help is appreciated!  Thanks!

    Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our products.
    You could have a look at the following devices LM4864 and TPA4861 are Audio Class AB amplifiers or TPA2000D1 is Audio Class D amplifier.
