Hello,

I'm new to audio and could use your help finding the best IC. I need an Audio Codec with, I2S communication,1 Mic Input, built in Class D Amplifier, and 1 watt of power output.

    Hi, David,

    Based on the specs you provided, we have several codecs that are able to meet these requirements. If you are looking for a basic device with 1W speaker output and single mic input, probably the TLV320AIC3100 could be a good option. This is one of our most basic codecs with these capabilities.

    We have other codec options, like the TLV320AIC3120, which comes with a programmable miniDSP, so this could be also a solution if processing is required.
