Hello

Customer want to evaluate TAS6424-Q1 or TAS6422-Q1 for a candidate of FY2018 model.

Please advise .

Q1 96kHz input

I can operate TAS6424-Q1EVM at fs=48KHz in PPC3.

Please let me know the way to input 96KHz( Optical) in PPC3.

In the EVM user's guide SLOU453 says; " If sampling frequency is greater than 48 kHz, select 96 kHz from the “Input FS” pull down."..

Where is Input FS button?

Q2 volume Gang

The volume in TAS6424-Q1 ( also TAS6422-Q1 ) can not be ganged?

It seems no gang function in PPC3.

Hello Kanji,

1. The 96kHz FS has not been implemented. We plan to implement this function in the next PPC3 release. You can override the FS by using I2C commands. Click on I2C button in the bottom of the PPC3 window, an I2C window will pop up. Select I/O and write "w 54 03 84". This will set the device to receiving 96kHz.

2. The volume gang function has not been implemented in the current PPC3. We plan to implement this function in the next PPC3 release.
