Definition of closed loop/open loop in Audio AMP devices.

Would you let me know what is meaning of closed/open loop in audio amps? I want to understand the difference of meaning.

Hello JH! There was a white paper that describes this quite well that was written by one of our engineers that can be found at: www.eetasia.com/.../EEOL_2009SEP04_ACC_TA_01.pdf . Please check it out as I think you will find it useful. In general the market is moving wholly toward closed loop because of design simplification and performance. Thanks, Jeff
