Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3107
I am using the headphone output of the TLV320AIC3107 to drive a speaker amplifier. I am doing this for a marketing demo, where the headphone output of our product would be hooked to some speakers.
The TLV320AIC3107 is in capless mode, and is being put into a differential amplifier, but I am getting all sorts of noise onto both the L and R signal as well as the common...noise that you don't hear with a headphone plugged in.
I can solve some of this problem by putting a 100uf cap on the common output. I am worried that this will have adverse effect on the headphone outputs. Is there a spec on how much capacitance I can hang onto the headphone common output before I make it unstable, or before the current through the cap at startup destroys the chip.
